Oh man, that is the million dollar quote and conundrum right there! I remember a time when I was way too obsessed with my running times and forgot why I was doing it in the first place. I've felt this often too. Whether it's gamification of something within in a wellness app or just in general, the longer a streak gets, the more it becomes a burden and stressful to keep going. Break a streak after 5 days, I shrug. Break a streak after 100 days, that hurts!
